PMI-ACP® Agile Certified Practitioner Certification Preparation Course Description

Associated Certification: PMI-ACP® Certification & 21 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward the requirement of 60 PDUs every 3 years.

Course Description: This course is design for those planning to take the PMI-ACP Certification exam as well as those interested in learning more about Agile project management. Agile is ideal for projects in which the requirements are continuously changing and you need a more adaptive proactive project management approach.

Course Length
: 21 hours (3.0 days)

Course Objective:  To review Agile concepts and prepare students for the certification exam.

Target Student: his course is intended for Project Managers, Program Managers, or anyone who wants to more effectively manage Agile projects that experience frequent changes in user requirements.

Prerequisites: Familiarity with project management concepts.
 
Performance-Based Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

    • Describe Agile project management.
    • Describe Agile methodologies.
    • Understand the critical success factors to implement Agile.
    • Describe the Agile Manifesto and Principles.
